Dr. D. V. Ramana has been a Rotarian for the past 40 years and has served at both national and international levels. He is a corporate trainer, a wellness coach, and the CEO of Sharan Events, a well-established event management company in South India. He is also the Managing Director of M/s Rendezvous, an international organisation that trains corporate heads, government officials and the leaders of Rotary International and Lions International.

He has organised mega events featuring stalwarts such as Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, A. R. Rahman, Aamir Khan, Sonu Nigam and Jagjit Singh. His Rotary life began in District 3230, Chennai, where he motivated young Indians through programmes on personality development, career guidance and building self-confidence; he is a past District Rotaract Representative (DRR).

He has trained hundreds of students in yoga and meditation techniques in India and abroad, and is the Founder-Director of Saampradaya Society, an organisation serving the needy.
