Edda Giuberti is the President and Head of Mission of Tripla Difesa Onlus, an Italian volunteer organization (ODV) headquartered in Florence, with additional offices in Pescara, Chieti, Rome, Grosseto, Foggia, Lecce, and Bologna. Since founding the organization’s registration in 2019, she has led its work providing comprehensive protection against violence, discrimination, and workplace abuse, including support for the reintegration of former detainees.
United Nations
Under her leadership, Tripla Difesa Onlus has held Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2021, through which she serves as the organization’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations. In this capacity, she participates in UN dialogues on human rights protection, the fight against organized crime, and efforts to counter the illicit trafficking of firearms, in cooperation with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) under the UNTOC and UNCAC frameworks.
Advocacy
She is also affiliated with Tripla Difesa Onlus Global International No Violence (GINV) and continues to advocate internationally for victims of violence and racial discrimination.
